Daiichi Pharmaceutical, Tokyo, Japan, has moved all aspects of its international fine chemical business into one company. Fuji Chemical Industries, Takaoka City, Japan, a subsidiary of Daiichi, is the primary manufacturer of vitamins and fine chemicals for the Daiichi group and will become the foundation of the new, consolidated organization. With this change, all aspects of Daiichi’s fine chemical business, including sales, marketing, distribution, manufacturing, re­search and technical services will be operating as one entity. Fuji Chemical Industries has changed its name to Daiichi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.
